Comcast Teams Up With Verizon for Mobile Video

Worth watching?

Comcast and Verizon joined forces last year to create a joint innovation lab, and now they're searching for a director of product management mobility solutions at their HQ in Philadelphia.

That might not mean much on the surface, but for cable subscribers it's a sign both companies are hard at work on developing a video platform. The so-called "magical" product will stream across all mobile devices and hopefully come out this year.

There's no word yet on what we can expect the device to offer or look like, but chances are it will offer the same suite of channels up for grabs on regular cable.
