This woman is the most forward-thinking mother of all-time. According to an exec at Sotheby's International Realty, a Chinese woman recently purchased a $6.5 million Manhattan apartment for her daughter. According to Sotheby's Senior Vice President Kevin Brown, the woman said that her daughter "was going to go to Columbia, or NYU or maybe Harvard," hence her decision to spend that much money on a crib for her. That still doesn't make complete sense, but we'll just classify it as "Rich People Shit."
When the woman revealed that her daughter is two-years-old, Brown was astonished.
The woman eventually purchased an apartment place at the One57 skyscraper. The place features a private dining room, library, fitness center, yoga studio and a 24-foot aquarium. Oh, and it has a secret entrance. The building is still under construction, but one day, that little girl will grow to appreciate what her mother has done for her.
