Before he found success with "The Simpsons," Matt Groening was as an ad man for Apple in the late 1980s.

Cult of Mac reprinted a couple of those posters on Monday, and boy, did they take us back. One called Networking in Hell depicts two characters from Groening's comic book, Life in Hell, Akbar and Jeff, as they try to sell college students a mainframe or Macintosh computer. Another called Bongo's Dream Dorm features everything an early 20-something male could want, from a helicopter landing pad to a satellite dish and revolving day bed.

Check out the posters on Cult of Mac and be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments.
