At just 9 years old, Dylan Mahalingam knew that even though he was just a kid, he had the power to impact the world in a positive way. Because he knew that ability was innate in all young children, he collaborated with his cousins and founded "Lil MDG's," an organization in partnership with the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals initiative.

With an eight goal platform to eradicate poverty and hunger, provide universal primary education, achieve gender equality, reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, and more, Mahalingam's Lil MDG's has made a global impact with chapters on six continents.

Now 16, Mahalingam has been invited to speak to audiences at the World Summit Youth Awards in Canada, the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, and the LIFE 2012 conference in Jaipur, India, among others.
