Why He Might Change The World: Educates both young and old on the use of technology
Organization Founded: Net Literacy
Yale School of Management MBA candidate Daniel Kent has been busy promoting digital literacy for awhile. His organization Net Literacy is an all volunteer, student run organization that has provided computer access to over 170,000 people worldwide.
Through the seven different digital literacy programs Net Literacy runs, students learn invaluable job skills and senior citizens are taught how to use computers and navigate the online web. Net literacy has also donated over 20,000 computers to people in need.
Kent's efforts have been recognized by two US presidents and various organizations worldwide.
