Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke is headed to the Planet of the Apes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has just signed on to star in the newest Planet of the Apes sequel, titled Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

The plot is vague for now, as its being kept mostly under tight wraps, but we do know that it'll be set 15 years after the events of the last film, 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and two focuses of the film will be on a group of scientists struggling to survive in San Francisco, as well as on ape Caesar (Andy Serkis) as he attempts to "maintain dominance over his kingdom."

No word yet on who Clarke will play, but thanks to his memorable and great performance in Zero Dark Thirty, it'll be a big role.
