Even before Seth MacFarlane took the stage on Sunday, people were asking, "Can Tina Fey and/or Amy Poehler host this?" They did an amazing job at the Golden Globes, so of course everyone wants them to keep on hosting.
Unfortunately for everyone, Our Lady of Comedy says she will never host the Oscars. David Letterman asked her if she and BFF Poehler would do it. Fey says she has a sweatpants-mandatory watch party (how can we score an invite?), but the amount of dresses she would have to try on is totally a dealbreaker. Lest you think that was just a one-off joke, she also told the Huffington Post: "No way. I just feel like that gig is so hard...I wish I could tell you there was [a one in a million chance]."
Tina, why do you hurt us so bad?
