The World's First 3D Pen Is Already in Development

The world could soon receive its first 3D pen, at least if one Kickstarter comes though. 

Citing the New Scientist, Pandodaily reports WobbleWorks is hard at work on the project, called 3Doodler, which lets you scribble, draw or trace in mid-air. It looks just like a pen, albeit a chunky, plastic-dispensing device that heats and cools liquid as it passes through the pen.

The technology has yet to be patented, the company says, but so far it's received $73,836 for funding, over $40,000 more than its original goal. Once production kicks off, the pen will be sold for $75, most likely through WobbleWorks' site.
