The Future Looks Bright Through Google Glass (Video)

Google posted a video today of its wearable Google Glass headset, and if seeing is believing, then our augmented future looks bright.

Not only will the sleek headset feature voice-activated web search, directions and messages, users can video chat, record movies and check the weather all at once. 

Google Glass is reportedly due by early 2014, though developer editions, priced at $1,500, are already being rolled out. Last summer, the company announced Project Glass and published a similar preview of how it might work, but this video goes one step farther in that it accurately depicts what the headset has to offer, no matter how extreme the situation or precious the moment.
