In the Coens' crime masterpiece, Tom Reagan (Byrne) plays an adviser to Irish crime boss Lee O'Bannon (Finney). Reagan becomes involved with O'Bannon's girl and ends up trying to keep the peace between warring gangs at the ever-increasing risk of his own neck.

With some of the sharpest writing and most uniquely funny and tragic scenes in the Coens' warped world, Miller's Crossing combines just about every strength from their prior films.
