The aging Lothario with the loaded name, Don Johnson (Bill Murray) finds himself single again, and content with the his fixed place on his couch until a letter arrives telling him he has a 19-year-old son. His neighbor urges Don to find him, sending him on a long trip through relationships past for a son he's not sure he wants.

An immediately entertaining and brisk film from weirdo director Jim Jarmusch, Broken Flowers is rich with Murray's loaded silences and stares, and an inspired cast that sets up some wincingly awkward situations.
