Created by one of the former Atari heads, Knack looks as if it might be the main contender for the PS4's launch. Quite a bit of Sony's presentation included content from this action title. Furthering the awesome but slept on Infamous franchise is Infamous: Second Son groups a band of young men and women together in a fight to take back their rights stolen by the government. They don't use weapons but the team's super powers do way more damage than any firearm. From the trailer Guerilla Games showed, Infamous: Second Son looked a lot like the TV show Heroes with more bloodshed. Hopefully, this release will put this series in a better competitive position and gain the recognition it deserves.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Taking place 30 years after Killzone 3, the Helghast and the Vektans are at it again but this time with better graphics and smoother gameplay. So far, it just looks like an awesome first person shooter but as more info on the storyline will drizzle down in the coming months.

Driveclub

Publisher/developer: Sony

Already, the video games press is referring to Driveclub as "car porn" which would be an accurate choice of words. An extensive amount of detail has been put into the driving experience as well as the game's engine. Driveclub was described as being a team-based racing game in which players can expect an enormous amount of cars and action. We don't know if the actual driving experience will lean more simulation like the Forza games or more arcade like Need For Speed. Hopefully there will be a balanced mix of the two.

Deep Down

Publisher/developer: Capcom

There was no doubt that a fantasy game full of elves, psychotic dragons and armored warriors would be on the horizon. Capcom announced that the tentatively titled Deep Down will be using the new Panta Rhei engine to power the title. We saw actual gameplay that had the same quality of a high-end cutscene. If what was shown is any indication of what's to come in the final version, Deep Down or whatever the name will be changed to will be a monster for Capcom.

Agni's Philosophy

Publisher/developer: Square Enix

The only thing we got out of the trailer for Agni's Philosophy is that it's set in a world similar to a big ass Brazil. There's magic, dragons and guns but that's all we know. Just as you'd expect from Square Enix, the graphics were incredible but we hope that the actual gameplay will match what we saw in the trailer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Though not announced at Sony's meeting, the folks at CD Projekt RED have unveiled The Witcher: Wild Hunt as their contribution to the PS4 catalog. In CD Projekt RED's latest development trailer, they promise a storyline more focused on the characters instead of the world's politics. Other than the glimpses found in the trailer, we'll all have to wait for then next Game Informer magazine to see screenshots of the game itself.

Bungie's new project is no longer a secret but at Sony's announcement we've learned that it will be available on the PS4. There's not too much else to say other than Bungie will be making major cash when Destiny drops.

Watch Dogs

Publisher/developer: Ubisoft

E3 2012's darling once again stole the show as the game's latest trailer showed more of the hacking ability we've seen a little of before. This time around, the main character comes off as more of a vigilante with the ability to use his gadgets to hack ATMs, read the crime potential of individuals and tap into and control Chicago's transit system. If there's any game to save your money for it's Watch Dogs for sure.
