Stealthy App Posts Fake Statuses and Check-ins For You

Are your friends really checking into the hottest restaurants and parties? Or are they using this app?

Admit it. You would rather sit at home to watch Netflix or play video games the whole weekend. Every weekend, we listen to our friends, go out, drink too much and come home at 5 a.m. and barely leave any time to relax on the couch.

That's where the CouchCachet iPhone app comes in. All you have to do is sign in with your Foursquare account. The sneaky app goes to work by posting exciting Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Foursquare statuses at regular intervals for you. While you're gaming on your couch in your underwear, your social network believes their friend is socializing at the hottest restaurants, bars and parties in town.

If you want just a night all to yourself to catch up on The Walking Dead (or Downton Abbey) it's worth a go, right?

The app was created for four tech nerds who wanted to combat the slight discomfort and agonizing mental unease caused by FOMO (Fear of Missing Out).
