Looks like Rosie O'Donnell won't be heading to America's Got Talent after all. According to UK's Daily Mail, the NBC series has just enlisted British celebrity and 1/5th of the Spice Girls, Melanie Brown - better known as Mel B. - to join Howard Stern and Howie Mandel on the judges panel next season. She takes departing judge Sharon Osbourne's seat, who had been with the show since its premiere back in 2006.
This isn't Mel B.'s first time judging a reality competition series such as this one, so it seems like she'll fit in well - she's a regular stand-in judge for The X Factor UK, has judged The X Factor Australia, and, according to the Daily Mail, "has long been a favourite of show boss Simon Cowell."
Auditions for the series are set to kick off in Los Angeles this month.
