What to do when you blow a stack (that you probably need) at a strip club and you don't want your wife to find out? You make up some elaborate story about how you got robbed, because the only thing worse than an irresponsible husband is a dishonest one.

21-year-old Jesus Mata, Jr. got his tax refund and went straight to the strip club, blowing $1,000 at an elegant little joint called Whispers in La Feria, TX. After tearing through the sum, he told police that six armed men in two trucks held him up with assault rifles.

Police in Cameron County grew suspicious when no leads emerged, and when detectives pressed Mata about the alleged incident, he came clean. He was arrested and charged with filing a false report. Now, the hardest part will be coming clean to his wife.

Lying to the police to avoid telling your wife the truth? Yeah, we don't get it either.
