Horror director and actor Eli Roth (Hostel) has released the first shot from his upcoming movie The Green Inferno. It's what he was making when he showed an Amazon tribe their first movie—Cannibal Holocaust, obviously.

The Green Inferno is about "a naive group of student activists from New York City who travel to the remote jungles of Peru, where they plan to stage a protest, but instead encounter a tribe of cannibals." Roth shot the movie in the depths of the Amazon where no one has ever filmed before, which raised some eyebrows in terms of ethics.

The villagers were apparently amazing extras because they don't act any different when the cameras are rolling. In response to accusations of exploitation, Roth said he will gift them with a "life-changing" motorboat.

In addition to South American villagers, the film also stars Ariel Levy, Lorenza Izzo, and Sky Ferreria.
