Apple and HBO are teaming up according to a recent report by Bloomberg to bring content from the HBO Go app to Apple TV.

HBO's popular app is currently available on iOS devices and over 600 hours of various movies and television shows from Time Warner's network will soon be available on Apple's home streaming device. Currently, in addition to iOS devices, cable and satellite subscribers can stream HBO Go from their Xbox and Roku set top boxes. Besides its own iTunes content, Apple TV features Hulu Plus, YouTube, Wall Street Journal content, Netflix, and various professional sports networks.

Sources said the HBO GO app is slated to launch on Apple TV during the first half of 2013.
