Changes are afoot at BlackBerry, but a few of them, like the release of its new Q10 phone, might have to wait.

That's according to VentureBeat, who reports the company might have to delay the release of the keyboard-equipped smartphone by up to 10 weeks. The Z10 is still on track to hit shelves in mid-March, however.

The reason for the delay, as CEO Thorstein Heins told the AP, is "rigid" carrier testing, although there's no telling what it is. Either way, the news can't be good for a company looking to beat investors' expectations and that's working against the clock.
