If you haven't logged on to Google+ in awhile, today might be the day to do it.

President Barack Obama is hosting a "fireside chat," or what us techies like to call a Google+ hangout, starting at 4:50 p.m. ET.

Topics from the recent State of the Union Address are up for discussion, including Obama's plan to revive the middle class, strengthen gun control and raise the minimum wage to $9 per hour. So far, the most popular questions pertain to NASA spending, eliminating the penny as currency and education.

Questions that receive the most votes will be answered by Obama, live from the West Wing of the White House.

The president is currently taking questions through the White House's YouTube channel, where the event will be streamed along with its website
