Would you willingly commit to dancing for 46 hours straight, no breaks allowed? Students at Penn State did, rallying up support for their annual IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), the proceeds of which go towards the Four Diamonds Fund for childhood cancer prevention and research.

The event, which has been in existence since 1973, relies on student organizations to raise funds, and ordinarily sees over 15,000 participants. This year, THON managed to raise an astounding $12,374,034.46, for a total of $100 million since its inception. Watch the video above as the record-breaking sum is revealed, and expect your faith in humanity to be restored, even if just a little.
