Mistakes happen, but Missouri State University has to feel pretty silly after this one. The school gave out thousands of bags to students where the "s" and "i" are switched around in the word "university." 17,800 bags were printed that cost a total of $70,844 that the university can't get back because it's their mistake.
The school bookstore was already in trouble because $500,000 went missing from an account and over $80,000 was found in the former bookstore director's desk. That's one of the quickest ways to get fired that we can think of.
