Hard to believe that the Madden franchise has been around for a quarter of a century, but the 25 year anniversary title has just been given a release date. August 27, 2013 is the calendar day to be circled.
Aside from making us feel really fucking old, the new title is sure to be packed with a ton of new in-game features. Madden is the elder statesman of football titles, eclipsing all others. The NFL 2K series still can't touch Madden when it comes to staying power.
