The new Vietnamese restaurant Pho 66 Noodle Bar & Grill (673 Ninth Avenue) will bring some diversity to Ninth Avenue in Hell's Kitchen, which is dominated by Thai restaurants. The restaurant opened over the weekend, and will offer not only the famous pho bowl, but also rolls, lettuce wraps, salads and even some Thai-inspired dishes.

Owner and chef Greg Hugunin was a restaurant critic for SF Weekly for three years, offering his humble opinion on Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Aside from studying at the city's French Culinary Institute, Hugunin spent six months in Asia learning about all of the necessities to make Pho 66 the best restaurant it could possibly be.

Central to the Pho 66 menu are four different types of pho. The Pho Deluxe has five types of beef, while the vegetarian Pho Verte has five different kinds of greens. Also, for the Thai lovers, there's Pad Thai. Something for everyone.
