"Girls," "Louie," and "Breaking Bad" Won Big at the Writer's Guild Awards Last Night

As expected, top television shows Breaking Bad, Louie, and Girls won big at the annual Writers Guild Awards last night in Hollywood. 

Taking home the top honors for television were both Breaking Bad and Louie, which won for best drama and best comedy, respectively. Lena Dunham's Girls - which took home multple awards at the recent Golden Globes including Best Comedy or Musical TV Series - snagged the WGA award for best new series. 

Other winners last night: Portlandia took home the award for best comedy/variety series, Mad Men and Modern Family both took home awards for best individual episode achievements, and HBO's Golden Globe-award winning Game Change won for best television film adapted screenplay.
