Who: Veteran film journalist, Oscar analyst for The Hollywood Reporter, and owner of his own eponymous website
Tweeter: Earlier this week, The Hollywood Reporter published an article from its awards season go-to guy, Scott Feinberg, in which an anonymous Oscar voter walked Feinberg through the reasoning behind many of his picks. It's an alarming and, frankly, downright infuriating look into the Academy's voting process that should further anger those who think the Oscars are mostly well-decorated poppycock. That wasn't Feinberg's intention, of course, but, whether he realizes it or not, the article represents everything that makes Feinberg such a necessary resource for people seeking unique insight into Hollywood's mechanisms: He rubs shoulders with its most powerful artists but isn't afraid to keep things all the way real.
