An NYPD Sergeant with 15 years of experience was arrested in Queens last night when child pornography was allegedly discovered on his computer. Alberto Randazzo, 36, was charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting sexual performance of a child.
Authorities say the evidence was found on a computer that Randazzo allegedly owns. At the moment, it's still unclear if the computer is Randazzo's personal computer, or the property of the NYPD. In the interim, Randazzo has been suspended without pay while an investigation is conducted.
