A project called Bicycled is breathing life into junk cars by taking sturdy old parts and creating new bikes. The idea is so simple and innovative, we're hitting ourselves for not coming up with it first.

The idea comes from creative agency Lola Madrid based in Spain. The seemingly durable bikes are made from the toughest parts of the vehicle.

The frame is made out of recycle car metal. Bicycle chains come from old transmission belts. Even car door handles find new life as seatpost clamps. All bike seats are cut out from old car leather.

It only makes so much sense that free spirits who choose to cycle instead of drive would be interested in recycled bikes. We're loving the idea. On the project's main page, customers can "Join the Queue to Get the First Ones." Sign us up.
