The 50 Best Villains in Movie History

48. Sho'nuff

Played By: Julius J. Carrey III
Movie: The Last Dragon (1985)

Everything in the urban chop-suey romp The Last Dragon is hyperbolic, so excuse Sno'nuff for being over-the-top. He's the self-proclaimed Shogun of Harlem, a gang leader who's probably seen one too many kung-fu movies. Still, he commands respect.

With his loyal band of similarly dressed minions, the smooth-talking, karate-chopping Sho'nuff runs the streets with many memorable intimidation tactics. To demonstrate dominance over weaker opponents, he makes them kiss the top of his Converse sneakers. To prove that he's cooler than all of the "skinny little lizards" in his vicinity, he drops rhyming one-liners that'd make New York Knicks announcer Walt Frazier bow down, calling foes "limp wimps." And, sometimes, he abandons rhythm for straight-up threats: "Get that sucker to the designated place at the designated time, and I will gladly designate his ass...for dismemberment!"

Who's the only guy slick enough to say something like without sounding super corny? Sho'nuff! —MB
