This is when the whole "cool mom" thing goes wrong. Four months ago, Judy Viger purchased strippers for her son's 16th birthday party. This has proven to be a grave error, as she's been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The shindig went down in a private room in of the Spare Time Bowling Center in South Glens Falls, NY.Two strippers were hired, and they were on deck to provide lap dances to underage teens, including a 13-year-old. Soon after, pictures of the event were posted on Facebook, where the mother of a 15-year-old attendee spotted them.
She called the authorities, and the South Glen Falls Police interviewed most of the 80 people who were present. The dancers were provided by Tops in Bottoms, who cooperated with the investigation. Viger could spend a year in jail if she's convicted, and we're sure her son would rather have his mother around than strippers at his birthday party.
