This is bad news for shopaholics. American Express has introduced a brand-new way to swipe your credit card that makes it all too easy to indulge. The credit card company has teamed up with Twitter to create Amex Sync.

Special offers will appear on Facebook, Foursquare and Twitter from American Express' official accounts. Sync with your social network of choice to experience a new way to shop. On Twitter, users need to tweet a specific product hashtags to purchase a deal. Next, Amex sends a confirmation code, which the user has 15 minutes to tweet to complete the order. Customers can expect product in the mail via two-day delivery.

In the Amex Sync On Twitter promo video, the patron is seen scrolling through his feed, eyeing a deal on flowers, and retweeting the hashtag.

Starting Wednesday, Feb. 13, Amex Sync will unleash five more products on Twitter including a $149 Amazon Kindle Fire HD, $179 Xbox 360 4GB console with game tokens, $180 Sony Action Cam with waterproof headband mount and the Urban Zen Bracelet designed by Donna Karen for $80. The Twitter sale will last until March 3 or when items become sold out.
