Cher Horowitz Alicia Silverstone's pilot was finally picked up by Lifetime. It ordered HR last year, but no actress was attached to the lead role.

Silvertone plays an uptight HR head for a big corporation who sustains a head injury; this causes her to "throw standard corporate practices out the window and inspires the business to strive for new ambitions and profits."

Ok, so it's a bit of a gimmicky premise, but shows can move beyond that (see: New Girl), and we'd love to see our 90s crush back in the spotlight. Silverstone was on Broadway last year in The Performers and guest starred on Subrgatory with Elton. Er, Jeremy Sisto.

HR is being developed by Aaron Kaplan (GCB, Terra Nova), who has several other pilots in the works on multiple networks, and written by Glenn Porter (I Melt With You).
