Last year, 15,465 pedestrians and cyclists were injured in NYC and 155 were killed. After further analysis from Streetsblog, Brooklyn was identified as the borough with the most pedestrian and cyclist fatalities. In 2012, 5,377 people were injured and 48 people died. Of those deaths, 41 were pedestrians and seven were cyclists.

Manhattan was the next closest with 40 deaths and that was closely followed by Queens, which had 40. After that, there's a huge gap: the Bronx had 19 and Staten Island had just 7. Brooklyn's 5,377 injuries were by far the most. Manhattan was second again with 3,959, then Queens with 3,483. Below them were the Bronx again at 2,142 and Staten Island at 504.
