We'll All Have to Wait a Little Longer For The CW's Wonder Woman Series, "Amazon"

The network has rolled it back to next season.

The CW hasn't given up on their upcoming Wonder Woman television show adaptation, Amazon, but apparently we're all going to have to wait another season to see it. Deadline is reporting that, in the process of selecting their pilot orders for this coming season, the network has decided to roll back the production and pilot for Amazon because they feel that the project needs more time.

No worries, though: Despite the setback, the drama is still a "high priority" at the network, since their Green Arrow series Arrow is doing so well in the ratings. No word yet on casting specifics, but CW president Mark Pedowitz did mention at the recent TCA's that they're busy trying to cast the lead role of Diana. Somehow, we doubt it will be Adrianne Palicki
