Vine, a video sharing app designed similar to Instagram, was as acquired by Twitter last year, and soon we will see the benefit of the partnership: video embedded tweets.
Twitter CEO Dick Costolo recently previewed the new app by posting a short embedded video clip on his timeline. With Vine, users can share short clips up to six seconds long. You will also be able to follow friends and explore clips from users you do not know.
One of Vine's notable features is the ability to combine a series of clips into a short video montage. Even though it is under Twitter's umbrella, Vine will still launch as a standalone app. According to All Things D, the app will launch in the Apple App Store very soon.
