Aside from talking about the last season of her show 30 Rock, Tina Fey briefly discussed the possibility of a Mean Girls musical coming soon with E!'s Giuliana Rancic. "Maybe! We want to. I would love to...I'm trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock and I think Paramount's onboard." There were plenty of positives in that statement by Fey which suggest that this idea could really get off the ground and we sure hope it does.
In addition, Fey confessed to not only seeing the recent spat between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj that resulted in Mariah dropping a Mean Girls reference, but Tina admitted, "Maybe she can play Amy Poehler's part in the musical." Can we please make this happen? Please!
