The cost of living in D.C. is steadily climbing, so if you're going to purchase an expensive penthouse, you might as well do some Big Tymers shit and go all the way in. This 8,500-square-foot penthouse was placed on the market nine days ago, and it costs a mere $1.95 million.

The place features seven bedrooms and seven baths, as well as a "Velvet Room." The whole place, especially the Velvet Room, screams "James Bond," as the ad says. It's located on Cathedral Avenue NW in the Wesley Heights neighborhood, and is being sold on the behalf of George Washington University, which acquired it as a gift from a very wealthy, very generous soul (Estelle Gelman) whose husband is the school library's namesake.

So yeah, it can be yours for just under $2 million.
