Despite having been on the air for six seasons now, The Big Bang Theory is showing no sign of slowing down any time soon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, last night's new episode on CBS garnered a whopping 18.98 million viewers - a new, impressive series high for the sitcom. The episode also performed very well in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo, matching its previous rating high of 6.0 in the Nielsens.

This, in addition to Vulture's report from March 2012 which proclaimed that Big Bang Theory reruns are "one of the most powerful forces on cable," proves it: Age really is just a number.
