In this classic Audrey Hepburn comedy, the beloved star plays the daughter of a man who forges famous paintings and statues for a living. After Daddy sells a fake statue of Venus to an art collector, he’s horrified to find out that, in the small print of the contract, the buyer has demanded it be inspected by an expert.

Worried that her father will be publicly exposed as a forger, Hepburn's character enlists the help of a thief who once tried to rob her house to help her rob the statue back from the museum.

Hijinks ensue during the screwball attempts at stealing of the statue back from the museum. Though it’s not the most sophisticated or sharply-written crime-comedy ever made, Hepburn is undeniably charming, fueling the fun in this playful riff on the heist flick.
