Mark Zuckerberg just gave new meaning to the phrase "Time is money." If you want to talk to the billionaire boy wonder, you can—but for a price. For a $100 you can send a message directly to Zuckerberg's inbox. The chances of him actually reading it? If we had to take a guess: very slim.
Essentially Zuckerberg is the test monkey for a new feature Facebook is attempting to create. If you are not friends with a person, it will cost you $100 to send them a message. This handsome sum, in theory, will act like a spam filter. The higher the price to chat, the less likely people will randomly fill your inbox with spam.
What do you think? Is Facebook's new message filtering strategy a good idea?
