Good news: Sarah Michelle Gellar may be returning to television. Don't worry, though, her first attempt at a comeback, Ringer, is still canceled - according to TV Line, the Buffy star is actually considering a role in a new half-hour comedy that's being developed at 20th Century Fox. Details aren't clear yet, but Gellar apparently became interested after reading the script, which was penned by Men at Work staff writer Shepard Boucher.
The series, which is still untitled, follows a family and "chronicles the hijinks parents get into while their kids are not at home." Gellar would play the wife/mother role. Sounds cool, but seriously, can we just get a legitimate Buffy reunion already?
