Not even going to lie, this is the best reality television news we've heard in a long time: Ryan Lochte, who captured our hearts during the 2012 London Olympics with his sparkling smile (mostly due to his blinged out grill) and his occasional dumb comments, has finally been bestowed with his own reality show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, E! has picked up the Olympic swimmer's series, What Would Ryan Lochte Do?, and episodes are set to begin airing in April.
"Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life," E! Entertainment president, Suzanne Kolb, said of the series. "He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: They want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."
The first season will consist of six episodes, and will surround Lochte in Gainesville, FL, as he trains, goes out, and adds to his collection of more than 150 pairs of sneakers.
There is no way this will go wrong.
