Oxygen Has Shelved Shawty Lo's Reality Special Called "All My Babies Mamas"

It had a compelling title, at least.

None

Despite having the best title ever, the Shawty Lo's one-hour reality special, All My Babies' Mamas, is no more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series has been shelved by its network, Oxygen, after it was hit by critique from civil rights groups who were claiming that the show would perpetuate negative stereotypes about African Americans.

"As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special," Oxygen said of the decision in a statement. "We will continue to develop compelling content that resonates with our young female viewers and drives the cultural conversation."

The special was to follow Shawty Lo, who has 11 children with 10 different women. His current girlfriend, at 19-years-old, is the same age as one of his kids. Yeah - these are the family dynamics reality television was made for.
