In the aftermath of the tragic shooting in Sandy Hook, the National Rifle Association (NRA) proves yet again that they are incapable of making sound decisions. Today the NRA released a target practice app for iOS devices.
The point-and-shoot game, intended for children 4 and older, offers users various weapon choices and indoor/outdoor targets. To make matters worse, users can also upgrade to different rifles by paying $1; ranging from an AK47 and to the MK11.
Considering the amount of kids that are harmed by guns every year, placing this app in the hands of children as young as four is probably not the best idea. With very few safety tips within the app, the NRA should expect even more backlash in the weeks to come.
