Mike Tyson is headed to the small screen. According to Deadline, the former boxer - who has appeared as himself in a variety of projects including Entourage and, of course, the first two installments of The Hangover - is set to guest-star on upcoming episode of NBC's Law and Order: SVU.
Not much info is available about the role yet, but we do know that his character will be named Reggie Rhodes, and is a convicted killer on death row whose violent crime may be linked to his bad childhood. In the episode, his case is noticed by Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Bayard Ellis (Andre Braughner). Ed Asner will also guest-star as someone working on Reggie Rhodes's investigation.
The role will be Tyson's first real acting gig playing a character instead of appearing as himself.
