In case you forgot, Michael Bay is still producing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie—simply titled Ninja Turtles—for Paramount that is rumored to change the turtles into aliens, thus completely altering the original concept of the characters. This move enraged fans last year, which didn’t seem to bother Bay too much.
Now, according to Production Weekly, the movie will begin shooting in New York in April after a brief delay by the studio. The movie will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans), but other than that, no concrete information has been nailed down as of yet. Is anyone still looking forward to this? Ninja Turtles will hit theaters on May 16, 2014.
