Matt Damon is set to guest star as himself in an upcoming episode of House of Lies, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting. The Promised Land star will head to the Showtime series to employ the show's gang - led by recent Golden Globe winner Don Cheadle - to help him start a charity with George Clooney. No word yet on when the episode will air, but it will definitely be sometime this year.
House of Lies has been doing exceptionally well for Showtime since its premiere last year. In addition to Cheadle's Best Comedy Actor win at the Golden Globes, the show garnered it's best-ever ratings for its second season premiere last night.
