On Tuesday afternoon, a man was killed at the 125th Street station while trying to defecate between two subway cars. According to NYPD spokesman Paul Browne, the man was struck by an oncoming train after falling onto the tracks.
In another incident, a man with a broken pelvis appeared at the station just prior to the aforementioned accident. Browne says that the wounded man told authorities that he didn't know what happened to him. He was taken to Harlem Hospital Center where the FDNY says he is in stable condition.
The names of the victims have not been released.
