A man accused of robbing a bank in Seattle was apprehended the next day after he was allegedly spotted masturbating in public. Around 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve, a man walked into a bank and handed a teller a note saying that he had a bomb and demanded money. After the teller obliged, he fled.
Around 12:30 p.m. on New Year's Day, police received a complaint that a man was enjoying himself near the entrance of a car dealership. Police happened to notice that the man looked just like the bank robbery suspect from the previous day.
The man told police that he wasn't masturbating, but rather trying to stuff money into his pants. His story checked out, as police soon found money crammed into his pockets and shoes. He also looked exactly like the robber seen on the surveillance footage.
After being christened the "Handsy Bandit" by police, he was taken off to jail.
