A man was killed this morning after leaping in front of a train at Times Square station. The man, who has yet to be identified, jumped in front of a No. 2 train headed to the Bronx around 10 a.m. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but the man had already died.

According to an MTA spokesman, power was cut off on the tracks and all 2 trains were rerouted on the 5 train line. This marks the latest tragic incident in a month that has seen an alarming number of subway deaths in NYC.
