Louis C.K. is in talks to join the cast of David O. Russell's next film, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting. The untitled film - formerly known as American Bullshit - was penned by The International writer Eric Singer, and follows the story of real-life con man Mel Weinberg, who was hired by the FBI to work on a major corruption case known as Abscam in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Should Louis C.K. join the cast, he would portray an FBI agent. Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, and Amy Adams are all already set to star in the film, and production begins next month.
The Louie star is also set to appear in Woody Allen's upcoming film, Blue Jasmine.
